jazz dance...

today is the first class of our jazz dance... a group of 10 (11?) from my fellowship joined... it's kind of fun and the most, most important is that we can exercise (to some extent)!!! hahaha...

getting old?!...

more and more friends are getting married... or start planning for their "big projects"... which also means that we are getting old (?!)... going through another stage of life... em... well... yes, i'm also part of this... ^^

• wedding bands: picked the design... yet to fit...
• counseling: doris done... now meeting with fung sir monthly...
• church deco, wedding gowns, wedding car - booked...
• apartment hunting: hope to start/resume in july...
• guest list: drafting now... but yet to send out invitation...
• honeymoon: flight & hotels booked... more details to follow...

what else? less than 5 months to go... woh!

3D2N @ KHH...

after the febc 50th anniversary banquet... i can now take a (short) break...

i went to taiwan over the weekend... no more taipei but the southern part this time - kaohsiung & kenting... it was sunny and hot... i've almost got burnt by the sun... =p but i love this place very much... ppl in the southern are more friendly and nice... life is more relax and easy...

50-yr faithful serving...

i must give thanks for God's faithfulness and His guidance... the FEBC-HK 50th anniversary thxgiving ceremony & banquet was over... without His presence, it couldn't be so successful... even though there are rooms to improve...

this project was a bit too big for me... and it was hard... with not much supervision from my boss, i needed to handle most of the things... esp on guest registration and on-site in-charge... thanks to Ellen & Barbara... and also other colleagues who gave us full support and great help...

indeed there have been lots of changes since i joined FEBC... staff movement... job duty shift... still finding my "position" among all these changes...

p.s. the next big event for our 50th anniversary is the Concert on nov 2... well... so close to my big day~~~ x_x

i have been thinking if i should start a new blog... or just continue with this blog...

and my choice is to stay tuned... i'm back... ^^

wonderful arts...

today we have taken our first batch of pre-wedding photo @ wonderful arts (WA)... the whole process is so smooth and enjoyable... though it rains at the very beginning... but hopefully we can finish all the outdoor and indoor photos...

we give our greatest thanks to...

• T.Soo (Kanty's MUA) - nice and very professional... we totally understand why she is one of the top MUAs @ WA... thank you... yeah~~~
• Heilda (MUA assistant) - having 100%+ patient... esp it takes her double of time in setting my hair... i love it much...
• Ray (photographer) - funny guy... teach us posing... with very very high efficiency - we can leave before 8pm...
• Frankie (assistant) - taking care of our costume... lighting... my glasses & all sorts...

we have booked next Monday for photo-selection... our target is - to pick 12 photos and go~~~

Hallelujah...

ACM 25th anniversary concert has finally come to an end... what a wonderful evening it was... in this 3hr program... we reviewed the history of ACM... and we sang lots of the golden hits... though we had a very short moment of power shortage... ivy (ivy so) is such a powerful leader & she handled it so well... woh~~~ learning much from her...

it's always good to meeting with old friends / old "war-mates" in the moment like this... as i have quited the regular choir this year... i seldom see them as often as before... this concert is just like an annual gathering for me...

may thxgiving & glory be to our Heavenly Father...

how can it be?...

tonite is the first event of this year's ACM annual concerts... the theme is "how can it be?" - the revised version of "意想不到" in canada/the states...

personally speaking... i prefer the original version more... dunno why... maybe having greater involvement... and dedicated my entire beings into the program... but the message is still so refreshing...

it gonna be the second nite (also the last nite of this program... coz sat will be the 25th anniversary celebration)... around 25 bro/sis from my church will be there... hope that God's presence be with them...

crazy july...

july is such a nightmare for me... my colleague left the company in late june... but all the PR activities happened in the first two week of july... sigh...

wishing, and praying, that the replacement will come asap...

5th anniversary...

last nite i flipped again the pics i took in montreal... suddenly realise that it has already been 5 years... woh... where will i be in 5 years' time? i dunno... but HE knows...

second session with doris...

this evening we have our second session of pre-marriage counselling... the result of our PREPARE/ENRICH testing is as my expectation... we have quite different expectations in some aspects of our marriage life...

expectations, communication & conflict resolution are the 3 aspects needed to improve more... but we did score high in our spiritual briefs (full mark... hallelujah!) & role relationship...

our counsellor doris also did a brief analysis of our TJTA test - which we did during a church training... she remarked that our differences in value might result from our brougt-up in family-of-origin...

i think this analysis have helped us a lot in understanding each other... and how our mode of communication can be... good... our next session in be in mid july...

my first recording...

today i do my first recording @ company's studio... even thought it's only one line of script: "我是班裡的尖子生" (in mandarin!!!)... it gonna be part of a promo for an upcoming program about self-image...

how does it sound... i dunno but the producer seems like very satisfactory... wakaka...

it comes to my last year of twenty-something... ooops...

thank you... and i've got all ur greetings (even as far from macau & australia)... i trust that it gonna be another year of great adventures and joyful blessings... thank YOU, God...

updates on wedding...

we have started our pre-merriage counselling with doris (praying hearts)... we had our first session on last thu evening... in this session we did a long long questionnaire of around 150+ questions... *_* results will be released in 3 weeks...

after the consultation... we went to an esd gathering - 3V studio forum - a total of 25+ jm and yoyo was there also... yoyo was on her holiday shopping around in hk... but she still had to work and made bookings... she did receive quite some orders that evening ($$$)... the place was just a bit too crowded but we had a fun time...

over the weekend... we went to see the carpet design for palace restaurant... it is so nice and elegant... purple in color with floral pattern... thx keung-gor (mr chan)... they are so willing to hear our comments... love them very much...

finally booked WA for pre-wedding picture... we just use the coupon... and +500 for sunday shooting... we will only pick 12 pic and go!!! hope so...

p.s. pixel cafe... ur service was so bad... and ur staff were so impolite... =<

意想不到 the finale...

just learnt from ta's blog... it was the last 意想不到 event for acm canada (the exact date should be may 19)... just remember how it started in 2005... the program keeps running over the past 3 years (05, 06 & 07 tours)... a total of 29 gatherings were organised... thx God that i was part of this wonderful experience...

hot weather warning...

it is super hot today... i'm all wet just after a few mins walk outdoor... it is so terrible...

only in late may... the first hot weather warning is on... overall temperature is over 30... some areas have a recrod of 33 or above... really crzay... how will the rest of this summer be... em...

palace restaurant...

we gather again today... but just a few of us... ^^ & her bf... kimmy & b sir... plus me... haha... it is not a joke but true that mr chan has called us to choose the right carpet design with him...

accroding to mr chan... deco for the new shop will be quite different from CWB... the main color (wall & ceiling) is in amber & golden color... so we choose a plain color carpet to match with the new design... finally we pick the one purple in color with some pattern in amber... a more "young looking" restaurant than ever...

we also talk about other issues... like the av system... ceiling & chandelier... entrance design... lift lobby... staff uniform... bridge room... haha... it just like we are part of the restaurant...

p.s. u may note that i have added back some posts since last oct... and a new appearance for my blog... to reflect another stage of life has begun...

rescheduled...

due to the rainstorm... our photo-taking will be rescheduled to oct 19... to skip the hot summer season... a bit disappointed as we have longed for... //sigh...
