Hey, I just watched it! I understand the story is from C.S. Lewis but I don't think they have done a good job in turning it into a movie. Anyone watched Memoir of Geisha?
I refuse to watch Memoir of Geisha, just because of Zhang Ziyi. Actually, I read the book two weeks ago and it doesn't deserve the raves that it did...
Lol..Yvonne, I had that thought too, but I ended up watching it today. I guess if you've read the book, you won't like it coz it minimalizes your imagination. Anyway, for someone who didn't read the book (e.g. me), I like it very much. The movie is carefully edited and even the little details are taken care of. The not-so-good part is it's pretty hard to understand their english with japanese-chinese accents.
